Caregiver’s companion guide to JAM Sessions Commandments Unit.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, that you love one another.

In the Old Testament, God gives Ten Commandments to Moses. These laws were for the Israelites and they can apply to us too. In the New Testament, Jesus gives us a new commandment that pretty much covers all of the old one. He says to love God and love others. If we’re loving God and we’re loving people, we won’t be breaking the other commandments. We’ll be grouping the commandments each week and end with the new commandment.

Commandments Music Session

We’ll be focusing on loving God and loving people and all the other commandments in “Ten In One,” our song for this unit. You can help your littles by reviewing the words to the song on the JAM-at-Home activity sheets.
