Little JAM Sessions
Little JAM Sessions is KidMin (Kids’ Ministry) Choir Curriculum is a brand-new-of-its-kind resource introducing littles to Jesus, Art, and Music.
Little JAM Sessions is designed for choirs of kids ages 3-6. Little JAM Sessions is composed of three main sections: JAM – Jesus, Art, and Music. This curriculum is great for midweek choir, multiple services, VBS, or part of the Sunday School curriculum.
Each 6-week session includes Bible lesson plans, craft instructions, scripture verses, and an original choir song. KidMin choirs are an excellent opportunity for discipleship and outreach. Little JAM Sessions keeps staff and volunteers from feeling overwhelmed while providing visual, audio, and kinesthetic learning of Bible truths for littles as well and support and engagement for parents and caregivers.
Built by Brenda Hunten, with 30+ years in ministry, music, and children’s fields, this curriculum will give you peace of mind that your littles are being educated through multiple learning styles, that the choir songs are written specifically for young children taking special consideration for their vocal range, and that the curriculum is Biblical.
Learning Styles
At Little JAM Sessions, we realize that KidMin Choir Curriculum needs to speak to the whole child, so each lesson includes aspects of kinesthetic, audio, and visual learning.
Each child is unique and learns differently and we don’t want anyone missing out on the truth that God loves them.
Modern Methods
Choir is often founded on memorization. Memorization is great. But it doesn’t equal learning. When learning and memorization are combined using music, crafts, and lessons, the results are true understanding that stays with them for a long time.
Starting at the Beginning
Little JAM Sessions is designed for littles 3-6 years old. We understand that developing or changing a a church music program can seem overwhelming.
Starting with the youngest ones, the preschoolers, is a fantastic way to build a firm foundation in your ministry.

Never. No. We believe God’s gift of creativity is superior and more heart-felt than any data program.
What training does a teacher need to teach LJS?
Our KidMin Choir Curriculum is created to relieve stress of teachers. Some music and Bible background is helpful, but our website gives clear instructions along with tips and templates to make teaching easy.
Why not just sing songs?
Little JAM Sessions is designed to actually teach the kids to a point of understanding and worship that goes far beyond just singing songs.
Can I get a hardcopy of the curriculum?
