Caregiver’s companion guide to JAM Sessions Creation Unit.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

We realize there are numerous views on how the world began. We believe the Bible so we believe just what the verse says. However, within that realm we also realize that there are many ideas about how exactly that all happened. There are tons of questions like — were the 6 days literal days or actually 6 eras? And we are going to leave those questions out of the preschool conversation. I do, however encourage parents to study this on their own. And with that said, here we go!

Creation Unit Jesus Session

• Day 1: Light
• Day 2: Atmosphere
• Day 3: Sun, moon, stars
• Day 4: Land, plants, and rivers
• Day 5: Fish and birds
• Day 6: Animals and people

Creation Unit Art Session

Save your child’s craft each week and at the end they can put them all together. Just punch holes in the top of each and thread them with yarn or ribbon to make a Creation Banner.
