Family is messy, am I right? You didn’t pick your parents and your kids didn’t pick you. Family can be a tradition nuclear deal or it can be a big ol’ blend of all sorts of components. But here’s the thing, God loves you. He loves your child. He loves every single person in your family. Whether your family includes steps or halves or adoption or abuse or crazy in-laws with weird political views or incarcerated members, whether they all get along or you’ve been estranged for many years, whether they loved you how you needed or they didn’t, whatever your situation, whatever your child’s situation, God loves you. He wants you to be part of his family and, unlike humans, he won’t fail at it.
