Remix Commandments Parent Guide
Caregiver’s companion guide to Remix JAM Sessions Commandments Unit. Remix (Reimagining Mixed-age Choirs) aims to enrich you and your child’s live through Jesus, Art, and Music.
John 15:12 This is my commandment, that you love one another.
In the Old Testament, God gives Ten Commandments to Moses. These laws were for the Israelites and they can apply to us too. In the New Testament, Jesus gives us a new commandment that pretty much covers all of the old ones. He says to love God and love others. If we’re loving God and we’re loving people, we won’t be breaking the other commandments. We’ll be grouping the commandments each week and end with the new commandment.
